New Trade Minister Gave His First Message

The new Minister of Trade gave his first message. Minister Mehmet Muş stated that they will work to increase exports.

AK Party Istanbul Deputy Mehmet Muş replaced Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan. In the first message he gave to the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the new Trade Minister Mehmet Muş said, "We will endeavor to do everything we can to increase exports and increase the economic size and the level of welfare." When asked whether the decision was a surprise for him by members of the press, Methmet Muş replied that 'it is necessary to be ready for every task given in politics'.

Trade Minister Mehmet Muş stated the following:

"Politicians should always be prepared for all kinds of duties. We were also prepared to serve our country. I knew about this issue before, our President shared it with me. We will endeavor to do everything we can to increase exports and increase the economic size and the level of welfare." President Recep Tayyip Erdogan dismissed Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan, who came to the agenda with the news of the purchase of 9 million lira worth of disinfectant from the family company to the ministry, and appointed Mehmet Muş in her place. Vedat Bilgin, one of Erdogan's chief advisors, was appointed to the newly established Ministry of Labor and Social Services.
