XRP Ledger has been released. In the statement made by the RippleX team consisting of
Ripple developers, there were statements that updates were made to improve existing system resources and to ensure that the software works efficiently on various server configurations. Accordingly, the memory usage was cut in half.
It was noted that along with optimizations such as improved validation and offer routing, another "important" improvement was made in XRPL, which is said to increase security and reduce the amount of bandwidth needed by allowing servers to store synchronization with the rest of the network more easily.
