Half of these ATMs belong to Shitcoins Club, which has deployed Bitcoin ATMs in many countries in Europe. There are nearly 150 Bitcoin ATMs owned by the company in European countries.
Bitcoin ATMs are known as kiosks where people can buy or sell Bitcoins using cash or debit cards. The first ATM operating in line with this purpose went into operation in Turkey on October 29, 2013. There are approximately 16 thousand BTC ATMs in 71 different countries around the world.
Bitcoin ATMs continue their activities by receiving a certain percentage of commission from users' transactions. This commission is above the amount paid to exchanges for a standard BTC transaction. The commission percentage can rise up to 9 percent in sales transactions.
