Palandoken: Short-Time Work Allowance Should Be Extended
Bendevi Palandoken, Chairman of the Turkish Confederation of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), said, "The short-time work allowance support should be extended until the end of the year."
Bendevi Palandöken, Chairman of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), stated that the support for
short-time work, which will end at the end of March, should be extended until the end of the year.
Making his statement in writing, Palandöken noted that tradesmen worked gradually and at certain hours after a long time, but that the earning situation could not be expected to recover.
Palandöken pointed out that it takes many years for the tradesmen to fully revive the market in general and used the following statements:
"The short-time work support will end by the end of March, but our tradesmen will not recover in a few months. Therefore, both cash wage support and short-time work support should be extended until the end of the year."
