PayPal will offer cryptocurrency services in the UK. Customers will be able to purchase 4 types of cryptocurrencies starting today.

Customers in the UK will be allowed to buy, hold and sell cryptocurrencies Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin securely and responsibly from today, PayPal said in a statement. The UK is the country where PayPal offers its first cryptocurrency service outside of the US, adding that UK customers can purchase cryptocurrencies using their bank accounts, PayPal balances or debit cards via a crypto tab on PayPal's website and mobile app. With over 400 million customers, PayPal's launch of a cryptocurrency service for its UK customers comes after major financial companies began offering access to digital assets to both institutional and individual customers in recent months.
