The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that it signed an agreement with Pfizer for 100 Million Doses of Covid-19 vaccine.

  Pfizer Will Provide Another 100 Million Doses of Covid-19 Vaccine to Brazil! The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that it signed an agreement with Pfizer for 100 Million Doses of Covid-19 vaccine. According to the agreement, Pfizer will deliver another 100 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine between September and December to Brazil, where it previously sent 1.6 million doses of vaccine. Thus, the vaccine sales made by the company will double. Brazil, where more than 2,000 people die on average per day, is the second deadliest country in the coronavirus epidemic. According to the Ministry of Health, more than 425,000 people have died in the country from Covid-19 since the outbreak. About 15 % of the Brazilian population has received at least one dose of vaccine, according to the Ministry. This rate is much less than in most European and North American countries.

Samsung BioLogics Denies Report on Pfizer Vaccine Production

There are also some developments on the Pfizer front, where Brazil, which is a complete chaos in every sense,hopes are placed. Making a statement on Wednesday, Samsung BioLogics Co Ltd said that Pfizer was in talks with the company to start production of the Covid-19 vaccine in South Korea in early August. The Korea Economic Daily previously reported that Samsung Group's biotech arm has renewed the production lines of its factory in Songdo to produce the Pfizer vaccine. According to a government official, the facility has the capacity to produce 1 billion doses of vaccine per year. Samsung BioLogics sent a one-line note to the stock exchange saying the report in question was "untrue". Making a statement on the subject, Pfizer said: "We are currently not negotiating any additional production for this vaccine other than these established supply lines. However, once the pandemic supply ends and moves to the regular supply phase, we will seize all the additional opportunities available. " South Korea's central disaster management center responsible for Covid-19 vaccine supply said it was not in a position to comment on the report. South Korea has a 66 million-dose vaccine deal with Pfizer. The country also; There are a total of 192 million doses of vaccine deals with some developers such as Moderna Inc, AstraZeneca Plc, Johnson & Johnson's and Novavax.
