Phone sales in China, the country most affected by the Corona virus outbreak, fell more than 30 percent in January.

The epidemic threatens not only human health but also the global economy and the business community. Smartphone sales in China fell more than 30 percent in January because of the Corona virus. Mobile phone brands delivered a total of 20.4 million device shipments that month, down 36.6 percent from the same month last year, recorded as 32.1 million, according to data from the Chinese Academy of Information and Communication Technologies. The drop in January was reported to be much larger than in the same month of last year, when sales fell 11.4 percent.

Phone Sales in China Fall Over 30 Percent

Sales fell to 811 cars a day, according to a statement from the China Passenger Car Association. In the same statement, it was highlighted that the situation in question would enter an improvement trend as of the third week of February. Despite the expectation for improvement, it is stated that the automobile sales in the country may decrease by 70 percent compared to February of the previous year.
