President Erdoğan: We Will Never Give Up
Speaking about engine development projects,
President Erdoğan said, "We will never give up."
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the "Delivery of the First National Helicopter Engine TEI-TS1400 and Design Center Opening Ceremony" in Eskişehir with a live link from Vahdettin Mansion.
Stating that the design center was opened with the delivery of the turboshaft engine designed and manufactured by Turkish engineers for testing, President Erdoğan stated that a new era has entered in the defense industry with these projects.
Pointing out that TEI will turn into a role model in the country with the investments to be made and the capabilities to be gained within the scope of the turboshaft engine development project, Erdogan said that the engineers, design and research and development units will work in a much more efficient and coordinated manner at the design center. the national industry organization in the international arena with Turkey, emphasizing that they aim to be among the most important players in the sector TEI Erdogan continued his speech as follows:
“There are as few countries that has a say in motor technologies in the world. For the development of an engine, a vast ecosystem from its software to its material needs to work together. Thank God TEI is now turning into a brand that not only produces motors, but designs, produces and sells to the world. With our Turboshaft project, we are also establishing a very serious test infrastructure that can test engines of this class and similar in our country. This infrastructure can also be used in the testing of our higher power class engines such as the national combat aircraft engine. With our UAVs and missiles, we are also developing engines of various power classes of our many platforms. We will start to take all these engines into the inventory soon.”
"We Will Never Give Up From This Goal"
Stating that they will continue to advance from the road opened with the helicopter turboshaft engine until all the engines of other defense industry vehicles are built, President Erdoğan said:
“On the one hand TAI, on the other hand, especially Turkey aviation with private sector organizations of our efforts, we are approaching all kinds of engine design and manufacture step by step our goal of making address country in the field. Although one of our country's defense industry out of the tank pallet factory in Arifiye the "We will never give up on this goal, even if it tries to undermine it.”
Reminding that he was Kamil Öçman, who rolled up his sleeves to produce diesel engines used in State Railways in 1944, President Erdoğan continued his words as follows:
“The engine, which was designed by a team led by the deceased Öçman and whose body and head was cast in factories in Eskişehir and whose crankshaft is forged, is produced completely locally in Ankara, together with other parts. The prototype of this first engine is also exhibited at the 1946 İzmir Fair. Şükrü Koçak, who is the Minister of Transport of the government's single party CHP of the period and the President of the Turkish Aeronautical Association, immediately goes to the factory where the engine is produced. It goes out saying. has resulted with such a painfully so here is Turkey's first diesel engine story. Hopefully teide and other organizations in our will come with strict compliance execution engine projects, our country will make to achieve the objectives in this area.”
