Reminding that the minimum wage is determined by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission consisting of 15 people consisting of workers, employers and government representatives, Atalay stated that Türk-İş has been on the table on behalf of the worker in the commission for 40 years. Pointing out that the minimum wage was determined only 4 times in 40 years with the agreement of the employee, employer and the government, Atalay said: "The minimum wage was the starting wage 40 years ago, but now it is the 'living wage' of 7 million workers.
