President of TÜRSAB Calls for Registration Amnesty President of TÜRSAB calls for a registration amnesty. Mayor Bagkaya pointed out that the tourism industry should be supported and registration amnesty is a must. President of Travel Agencies Association of Turkey (TÜRSAB) Firuz Bağlıka said that the registry amnesty is a must on the grounds that the tourism sector is on a difficult process. In a statement made to Bloomberg HT, Bagkaya said, “Registry amnesty is a must for tourism professionals. Tourism needs credit supports that are not left to the pleasure of the banks to leave on the intensive care. Tourism professionals have difficulties in loan extensions even in public banks. KGF should be functional under realistic conditions. Business mobilization for tourism should be declared for the year 2021 ”. Bağkaya also said that the tourism industry has already had a critical season and that it has worsened with the epidemic. Speaking about the troubles in the sector, Bagkaya said: “The damage to travel agencies is much greater. They are currently struggling to survive. It should not be forgotten that different supports should be applied to each sector, such as short-time working allowance, treatment according to a short-term loan company, and tourism has been caught in a period of low immunity to this crisis. This disaster came after two bad seasons. A satisfying support package could not be created to fix the problems from the root. The packages created did not work well, either because of the companies' records before the banks or the conditions contrary to the realities of the tourism sector. Those who benefit from these packages in our sector are 10 percent of those in need, most of them could not benefit from these rights.”
