KAP. Verusa Holding made a decision for the public offering of its subsidiary Golive Software.
Verusa Holding made a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) and stated that a decision was made for the public offering of Golive Software, which is a 25 percent subsidiary.
In the statement of Verusa Holding, following statements took place, “Our Venture Company Golive Software Services Inc., in which our company has a 25% participation, at the meeting dated 13.01.2021 (today) of the Board of Directors of Golive Software decision has been made”
In 2020, 8 new companies were offered to the public in Borsa Istanbul. With these offerings, the size of the public offerings in 2020 was recorded as 858.7 million TL.
Capital Markets Board Chairman Ali Fuat Taşkesenlioğlu in a statement regarding IPOs, that Turkey has made an important progress during 2020 in terms of capital markets, said that companies raised 1.1 billion TL through the primary public offering method and 21.8 billion TL through paid capital increase. Taşkesenlioğlu also stated that they expect the same momentum to continue in 2021 and said, "This situation offers a great opportunity for the private sector to obtain long-term funds through capital markets and reduce their risks by balancing their highly leveraged balance sheets."
