Raise to gasoline prices is on the way. According to the information obtained from the representatives of the fuel sector, a price increase of 0.08 TL per liter of gasoline is expected to be effective starting Tuesday. It is foreseen that the entire increase will be covered by SCT.

According to the breaking news, a raise in gasoline is on the way. According to the information given by the representatives of the fuel industry, it is expected that the price of gasoline per liter will increase by 0.08 TL, effective from midnight. The price increase in question is expected to be met from the SCT due to the current application, Esel Mobile System, and will not reflected in the pump price. Since the beginning of 2021, the price of gasoline has increased by 0.11 TL for the first time, and this increase was reflected in the pump as 0.07 TL. Later, another 0.20 TL raise was applied, but this price increase was not covered by the SCT and reflected in the pump price.   How Are Fuel Prices Calculated? Fuel prices are calculated by the refineries via inclusion of processed products in Mediterranean which includes Turkey and changes in the US dollar rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may vary slightly according to companies and cities due to their competition and freedom.
