Realized Value Of Bitcoin Exceeded $400 Billion
The realized value of Bitcoin has exceeded $400 billion. The leading crypto is breaking its record every day.
While the price has increased in
Bitcoin in recent days, the "realized" price and market value have also increased.
According to data measurement firm
Glassnode, Bitcoin's realized market cap has surpassed $400 billion for the first time. At the same time, the realized price broke a new record and exceeded 21 thousand 200 dollars.
How is Realized Value Measured?
The realized price represents the price of used coins, unlike the current price, and excludes coins that have been lost or have been sleeping in wallets for years. This price is the realized market value divided by the circulating supply.
Designed by analytics firm Coin Metrics, this metric finds the total value of a cryptocurrency multiplied by the time it last moved. For example, if a coin last moved in 2018 and the price was $4,000 at that time, the measurement takes that price into account and calculates from this price (from $4,000), not the current price. Thus, the realized total market value emerges.
