Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Speaks on Rent Regulations
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "Next month, we will share a new move that will prevent the unbalanced rise in housing and rental prices and contribute to earthquake preparedness efforts."
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who participated in the 60 thousand Housing Great Istanbul Transformation Esenler First Stage Delivery Ceremony at Dörtyol Square, made a rent assessment. President Erdoğan made the following statements in his speech: "Again last month, we held the mass opening ceremony of Eyüpsultan Municipality. We opened our renovated Archeology Museums in Istanbul. On the occasion of the anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt, the biggest betrayal in the recent history of our country, we commemorated our martyrs and veterans in Saraçhane. We also experienced the enthusiasm of the 569th anniversary of the conquest of Istanbul together in the Atatürk Airport area, which we started to organize as a nation garden. I ask my Allah to protect us from all kinds of disasters and calamities. Brothers and sisters, who was in power in this country at the time of that disaster? Ecevit, who is now deceased, right? And what did the government do in that earthquake disaster? They were completely finished, exhausted. Remember the Bingöl earthquake, remember the Van earthquake, remember Simav, remember Kütahya. In all these earthquakes, remember the Gölcük earthquake, remember Sakarya, remember Kocaeli in general, in all of these earthquakes, we immediately brought all these cities back to their feet, in Malatya, in Elazığ. Because when we promise, we do it and we did it. We have completed the transformation of 3 million houses so far. 12 million of our citizens living in these houses now have safe buildings, social facilities, green areas and homes where they can live their lives in peace. Thanks to the 1 million 170 thousand houses we built through TOKİ, we ensured that 5 million of our citizens live peacefully in safe houses. As a result, with all these works, we have protected 60 percent of the buildings in our country, that is, 50 million of our citizens against disasters. Inshallah, our goal is to bring all 85 million under this safe umbrella in the next 5 years with the new moves we will initiate. Never forgetting that earthquakes, floods and landslides are the reality of this country, we will surrender to our Allah by taking every precaution that human reason and technology allow.” The President stated that they declared Istanbul as the center of urban transformation projects and continued his words: "We have realized a really difficult task by transforming 300 thousand houses in Istanbul so far. We have achieved a historical success. Currently, the transformation of 140 thousand houses and workplaces continues in the field. Even in a place like Fikirtepe, which has turned into gangrene due to long-standing problems, we are transforming 15 thousand houses. Work continues rapidly in places such as Güngören, Tozkoparan, Zeytinburnu, Gaziosmanpaşa. A transformation of 5 thousand houses is taking place in Kirazlıtepe, on the outskirts of Çamlıca Mosque. In Kartal, Şerifali, Beyoğlu, Kağıthane, Okmeydanı, Eyüpsultan, Beykoz, Silivri, Çatalca, Fatih, Pendik, in short, tens of thousands of workers and engineers are working like bees to complete the transformation projects in all 39 districts of Istanbul.''İLGİLİ HABERLER
