Record Tourists Arrive In Antalya In January

Antalya broke the January record of all time with 186 thousand 225 tourists coming in the first month of the year. According to data from the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism , the number of visitors to the city in January this year increased by 31 percent compared to last year's period. In January last year, 42 thousand tourists enter Antalya this year 153 thousand 36'si foreign 186 thousand 225 tourists came. The city , which broke the all-time January record with this figure, has had a good start to 2020 in tourism.

RUSSIAN FIRST

Antalya , which is one of the most important tourism destinations in the world, was preferred by the most Russian tourists. Russia ranked first with 57,177 tourists , followed by Germany with 40,669 visitors. Compared to last year, 53% increase in Russian tourists and 37% increase in German tourists. The countries that send tourists to Antalya after Russia and Germany are listed as Israel, POLAND, UK, Jordan, Iran, Netherlands, Belgium and Kazakhstan.
