Rediscount and Advance Interest Rates Published in the Official Gazette The rediscount and advance interest rates of the CBRT were published in the Official Gazette. The CBRT announced that the discount rate to be applied in rediscount transactions to be made against bills with a maximum of 3 months to maturity was determined as 15.75 percent annually and the interest rate to be applied in advance transactions as 16.75 per year. The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey’s (CBRT) notice was published in the Official Gazette. In the communiqué published in the Official Gazette, it was noted that the discount interest rate to be applied in rediscount transactions to be carried out against bills with a maximum of 3 months to maturity by the Central Bank was determined as 15.75 percent annually and the interest rate to be applied in advance transactions as 16.75 per year. In the Communiqué, it was stated that these rates entered into force as of today.
