The reserve in the Söğüt gold mine is on the rise. According to the statement made by
Gübretaş, the combined mineral reserves of the Akbaştepe and Korudanlık mineral deposits, which make up the Söğüt Gold Mine Project, reached the value of 1.92 million ounces of gold and 152 thousand ounces of silver.
Gübretaş stated that as a result of the studies carried out, the registered reserve in the Söğüt gold mine has increased.
In the statement made by the company to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was noted that the Akbaştepe and Korudanlık mine deposits, which constitute the Söğüt Gold Mine Project, reached the value of 1.92 million ounces of
gold and 152 thousand ounces of silver after the studies on the combined mine reserves.
In the statement made, it was noted that there is an opportunity to significantly increase the mineral reserve with densification and spreading drillings. The statement includes a combined ore processing capacity of 0.72 million tons / year with a proposed 15-year mine life for mineral reserves.
Making a statement in July, the company noted that it purchased the mine site from Koza Gold. The operating license for this mine site is valid until February 2023.
