Robinhood has expanded its testing program for cryptocurrency wallets. As of now, an update has been made for customers on the wallet waiting list. It has been announced that more than 250,000 customers have been removed from the waiting list.
In addition, Chennapragada added that more than 500,000 customers are scheduled to be removed from the waiting list in the next few weeks. Robinhood launched the beta version of its crypto wallet feature in late January. As a reminder, initially only 1,000 customers were able to withdraw funds from their balances.
In November 2021, Robinhood head of crypto operations Christine Brown stated that the crypto wallet waiting list had passed 1.6 million customers.
