Gazprom, Russia's largest company and the world's largest gas producer, announced that the Polish part of the Yamal-Europe pipeline, which transports Russian gas to Europe, will not be used.
Sergey Kupriyanov, the Representative of Gazprom, which has a market share of 27% in European countries, reminded that Russia will impose sanctions on various foreign companies, including the Polish company EuRoPol GAZ.
Pointing out that EuRoPol GAZ owns the Polish part of the Yamal-Europe pipeline that carries Russian gas to Europe, Representative Sergey Kupriyanov stated that due to the sanctions imposed, Russian gas will not be sent over the line owned by EuRoPol GAZ in the coming days.
Kupriyanov stated that Poland, as a shareholder of EuRoPol GAZ, violated Gazprom's rights many times and also imposed sanctions on Gazprom.
The Yamal-Europe pipeline, which is considered one of the most ambitious energy projects in the world, is known as one of the important lines carrying Russian gas to Europe, as well as the pipelines in Ukraine and the Nord Stream pipeline.
