Sabancı Will Increase Free Float to 5% in Carrefoursa
Sabancı will increase the free float in Carrefoursa to 5%. Sabancı Holding decided to increase the actual free float rate in Carrefoursa from less than 5 percent to 5 percent.

The company, which made a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform, said, "The portion of CarrefourSA shares with a nominal value of 2.500.000,00 TL in the portfolio of our company is converted into a traded quality at the Central Registry Agency and subsequently, all or some of these shares are in the secondary market and / or out of the stock market. It was decided to increase the effective free float rate of
CarrefourSA shares to 5% by being sold to individuals.
In September, Borsa İstanbul had given time and warned that companies with low effective free float of stocks could be admitted to the Pre-Market Trading Platform.
In the statement made by the
Stock Exchange, it was stated that companies with an actual circulation rate of less than 5 percent were given a deadline until January 1, 2021, to increase it above 5 percent. According to this statement, the shares of companies that do not increase their actual free float rate above 5 percent will be taken to the Pre-Market Trading Platform as of the aforementioned date.
