Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, where flights were suspended for a while as part of the Coronavirus measures, started cargo flights. Due to the measures taken as part of the fight against the corona virus, domestic, international and cargo flights at Istanbul Airport Sabiha Gökçen were discontinued on March 28, 2020. After this decision, the maintenance and repair work on the airport runway had accelerated. Sabiha Gökçen Airport Management and Aviation Industry Inc. According to (HEAŞ), the runway maintenance was completed within 25 days. After completing the maintenance and repair work in Sabiha Gökçen, it became known that cargo landings and departures to the airport opened on May 1st.
