Şahin: We Can Start Vaccinating In Turkey At The End Of This Month

BioNTech, which develops a vaccine against the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19), stated that immunity can be achieved in Europe until the end of summer by speeding up vaccination activities.
Informing the Anadolu Agency on the subject, Şahin also made some statements about the vaccines to be sent to Turkey and the cooperation. Stating that negotiations are continuing with TUBITAK to conduct joint studies on cancer research, Uğur Şahin said, "Our scientists from us and TUBITAK are meeting. It will take time to get a final result right now due to the epidemic, but we will definitely continue our work on this issue."
Şahin, who also gave information about the 4.5 million doses of vaccine to be sent to Turkey, used the following statements:
"We had to do legislative, technical and quality control work on this issue, they were completed last week. If everything goes well, we can start vaccinating in Turkey at the end of the month. We are working on sending more vaccines in the second half of 2021."
