Second Batch of Vaccines Could Arrive By This Weekend
Second batch of the vaccines could arrive by this weekend. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reported that the second batch of vaccines could arrive from China by the end of this week. Erdogan stated that they are expecting 10 million doses of vaccine.
Responding to the questions of press members after the Friday prayer, President Erdogan said, "Our second batch vaccine is approved by China. It will probably arrive this weekend."
Stating that restaurant restrictions will be discussed at the cabinet meeting, Erdogan said he still has concerns about this. Erdogan made the following statements regarding the issue:
"I hope we will reconsider the evaluation of this at our cabinet meeting, because we have concerns. Unfortunately, although they say that we will hold it tight, which have been said before, unfortunately it is not kept tight. Currently, there is a successful process, we do not want to reverse this again, we do not want to take that risk again."
Sharing his evaluations regarding the reform package, President Erdoğan said, "We have done our internal work on the reform package, we are working on the economy, we will announce the developments along with the date, next week."
Answering questions about early elections, Erdogan emphasized that early elections were out of question before June 2023. President Erdogan said, "We are not in a hurry like the political parties in the opposition, the current picture is June 2023."
