SEC's Postponement Request Was Approved in Ripple Case

In the Ripple case, the SEC's request for a postponement was approved. Ripple stated that it rejected this request.

While the war between Ripple and the SEC was in full swing, an important development took place. Despite Ripple's objections, judge Sarah Netburn approved the US Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) request to extend the discovery period. As it is known, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and co-founder Chris Larsen accused the SEC of deliberately slowing the case and argued that the request should be denied. As tensions between Ripple and the SEC escalated, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) applied to the court for an extension on March 21. In response to this request, Judge Sarah Netburn ruled in favor of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Judge Sarah Netburn accepted the SEC's request for an extension for the Ripple lawsuit. Similarly, Ripple lawyer Stuart Alderoty made a statement on his Twitter account, urging the SEC to conclude the case as quickly as possible without further delay. Finally, the SEC will notify the judge within a week after April 8th whether it needs additional exploration for the Ripple case.
