Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, distance education and working in Turkey, national market chains, healthy products and the interaction of hobby sites were on the rise, while private health institutions, airline companies, and hospitality companies hit the bottom. Looking at the "global Coronavirus epidemic effects on different categories in Turkey report"analyzed by Deloitte consultancy, The Coronavirus outbreak, which affected the whole world and struck a major blow to social and economic life, caused a major change in the way of life, business practices and habits in the world and in Turkey. DISTANCE EDUCATION AND STUDY INTERACTION INCREASED 15 TIMES According to the report, video conferencing and distance education systems such as Skype, Zoom, and EBA increased 15-fold as education and working life moved home after decisions to prevent the spread of the virus. The fastest increase in this area was the EBA, the distance education system of the Ministry of Education. Online shopping, which is of great importance for living at home, has experienced a rapid rise in food shopping from afar. In this area, national markets have experienced a 2-fold increase in interaction with digitalization investments, strong logistics, and home distribution infrastructures and e-commerce experiences compared to discount markets. In these times when the importance of healthy eating and keeping immunity strong is emphasized, consumers have shown intense interest in vitamin, honey and herbalist products, and the healthy products Area has also been included in the emerging categories. Hobby sites such as knitting and handcrafting have received intense interest from consumers who spend more time at home. INTERNET TV ALSO AMONG THE FASTEST RISING Following the outbreak, the fastest-growing categories are internet-TV, media, pets, games and clothing and footwear. Although the clothing-footwear category, which has decreased since the second week of the outbreak intensified, is a trend that has increased in the past two weeks with discount campaigns, it is thought that this rise will be temporary during this period when social interaction is restricted. But brands that are more prone to e-commerce in this area are less harmed by the process. OTHER NEED SECTORS SUFFERED SHARP DECLINE As the outbreak spread rapidly, there was a decline in public appointment requests and private hospital interactions. While declines in the private sector are less than in the public sector, this negative trend is expected to slow down and continue. The interactions of platforms providing services such as household cleaning, car rental, transportation, and repairs have been in rapid decline as consumers defer their needs in an attempt to reduce the risk of disease transmission and save money. These reductions are predicted to last through the outbreak period.
