Senegal Signed 4 Agreements with the World Bank

Senegal signed multiple agreements worth 453 million dollars with the
World Bank. In the written statement made by the
World Bank, it was stated that 4 agreements covering many sectors were signed between the World Bank's Senegal Operations Director Nathan Belete and Senegal Finance and Budget Minister Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo.
It was informed that the agreements were signed on the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19), access to electricity, strengthening border security and supporting families in the vulnerable segment of society.
It was emphasized that the total value of the agreements reached 453 million dollars and that 241 million dollars was donated to support the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19).
With these latest agreements, the World Bank's exclusive financing support signed with Senegal reached $898 million in a single financial year, breaking a record.
