Societe Generale Chooses Metaco

Societe Generale, one of the oldest banks in France, chooses cryptocurrency custody company Metaco!

Digital asset subsidiary Societe Generale announced its partnership with Metaco, a company that designs enterprise digital asset management solutions for the financial industry. It was stated that the bank, which is currently structuring the European Investment Bank's (EIB) $103.8 million digital bond in 2021, will focus on securities tokens, a specialty of the bank. Metaco CEO Adrien Treccani made the following statements in his statement: "A number of banks that were already working on specific topics have suddenly transformed from innovation pilots to concrete market strategies. You will start to see a series of announcements involving very large custodians. The American market is tightly regulated and has accelerated dramatically in the last 12 months alone. But I would argue that cryptocurrencies in general are very much covered.'' Treccani said that the French market today is more about security tokenization than cryptocurrencies.
