  Some Billionaires support Bitcoin against Gold, while Others say Ethereum is even Better.   Billionaire Barry Sternlicht explained, “The reason he owns Bitcoin is because the US government and every government in the western hemisphere is irresponsibly printing money.” Even after JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon's recent comments that Bitcoin is worthless, the two leading billionaires (although both claim that Ether has even more desirable properties) have continued to protect. Barry Sternlicht, co-founder of Starwood Capital Group, one of them, said in an interview with Squawk Box yesterday that gold is actually "worthless" and holds Bitcoin (BTC) because every government in the "western hemisphere" is putting pressure on it. Founded in 1991, the investment firm is known to have approximately $95 billion worth of assets under management (AUM).

Sternlicht has been asked to take on Jamie Dimon's recurring skepticism that BTC is "worthless." Another big fortune owner, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, said in an interview yesterday that BTC is "better than gold" before saying he thinks Ethereum is "the most advantageous" as an investment. Although Sternlicht preferred BTC to gold, he continued to praise Ethereum for his support of Bitcoin. He added that “he has become very interested in blockchain technology as a whole and that he will probably enter one of the digital ledgers that will change everything.” Some Billionaires support Bitcoin against Gold, while Others say Ethereum is even Better.
