Statement from TURYID: "Hotel Reservations Are Going Well"
Tourism, Restaurant Investors and Gastronomy Businesses Association (TURYID) President Kaya Demirer stated that hotel reservations are improving with the approach of summer, and that they can close the year with surprises as the crisis eases.
TURYID President Kaya Demirer made evaluations about the occupancy rates in hotels. President Demirer, who was a guest of the Smart Agriculture program, said, “The occupancy rate in hotels is not bad this year. In particular, the month of April did not fall short of expectations. May reservations are also going well. The main critical months are July, August and September. If there is a softening in the crisis until that date, we can close the season with very good surprises. Our hope is in this direction...”
It was noted that the first signals for summer tourism in 2022 are quite promising.
