Stellantis, one of the important players in the global automotive market, has reached the final stage of its battery factory investment.
Italian Industry Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said that the agreement between the Roman government and the company will be signed soon for the battery factory planned to be built in Termoli in the southern region of Italy.
Speaking to Corriere della Sera, Minister Giorgetti said, "We are very close to completing the agreement for the giant factory in Termoli, where Stellantis will produce batteries. Signatures will be signed in a few days."
The minister did not provide details on the subject in the interview.
