The stock market closed the day with an increase. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.33 percent and completed the day with 1,102.70 points.

Stock Market Closed Day With An Increase The stock market closed the day with an increase. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.33 percent and completed the day with 1,102.70 points. At the end of the day, the transaction volume in the BIST 100 index, which increased by 3.64 points compared to the previous closing, was recorded as 14.5 billion liras. The banking index lost 0.46 percent value; holding index gained 0.60 percent. Among the industry indices, transportation was the most profitable with 2.36 percent; Sports was the most declining with 9.94 percent. According to the announcements, the BIST 100 index, which has been moving between 1,070-1,110 for about two weeks, closing above 1,100 points on the 10th trading day is important for the future course. The analysts stated that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) and the Bank of England (BoE) interest rate decisions will have an impact on the direction of the markets, and  especially industrial production data, will be followed intensely around the world. On the other hand, it was stated that the news about the treatment of coronavirus (Covid-19) and the geopolitical developments centered on the Eastern Mediterranean kept their place in the focus of the agenda. Analysts stated that the BIST 100 index could be at the level of resistance of 1.120 and support of 1.090.
