While sports was the main industry with 7.96 percent earning the most among the sector indices; The highest decline was recorded on paper print and forest products with 2.26 percent. The BIST 100 index, which was launched with a decrease today, went over 1,115.82 points in the second half of the day after declining to 1,111.96 points. Analysts stated that tomorrow, Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey’s policy rate decision and capacity utilization rate will be monitored domestically along with the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) data, home sales in the US and IFO indices in Germany will be monitored abroad. On the other hand, it was stated that the news about the treatment of coronavirus (Covid-19) and the geopolitical developments centered on the Eastern Mediterranean kept their place in the focus of the agenda. From a technical perspective, analysts stated that the BIST 100 index is at the level of 1,120 resistance and 1,090 points as support.
