Stock Market Closed Day With Decrease on October 26 The stock market closed the day with a decrease on October 26. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 3.88 percent and finished the day with 1.144.45 points. At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index decreased by 46.18 points compared to the previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 25.9 billion lira. At the closing, the banking index lost 4.23 percent, while the holding index lost 5.77 percent. While all sector indices depreciated, financial leasing and factoring recorded the biggest loss with 9.06 percent. It was stated that while the number of Coronavirus (Covid-19) cases increased rapidly worldwide, geopolitical developments remained at the center of the agenda with the incentive package negotiations and election process in the USA. Stating that stock and sector-based movements may come to the agenda due to the third quarter financial results that have started to be announced domestically, analysts said that the data agenda in the country is stable tomorrow. In abroad, it was stated that the data agenda, especially the profits of the industrial sector in China and consumer confidence in the USA, will be monitored. In technical terms, analysts stated that the level of 1,140 is in support and 1,180 points in the BIST 100 index.
