Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.22 percent and finished the day with 1,476.72 points.
At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index recorded a 3.18 point decrease compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 27.8 billion liras.
At the closing, while the banking index lost its value by 0.06 percent, the holding index gained 0.28 percent. Among the industry indices, tourism gained the most with 4.09 percent, while trade was the most declining with 1.15 percent.
The
BIST 100 index, which recorded its highest level of all time with 1,484.37 points on the last trading day of 2020, found a balance over 1,475.00 points with profit sales following this level.
It was reminded that the markets will be closed tomorrow with the New Year's Eve. Analysts stated that domestic inflation data will be followed next week, and that the intense data agenda will be followed abroad, especially the employment report to be announced in the USA, the US Federal Reserve (Fed) meeting along with the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) data to be announced worldwide will be closely monitored.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the BIST 100 index is at 1.490 resistance and 1.420 points in support.
