Stock Market Ended The Day With a Record on December 15 Stock market ended the day with a record on December 15. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 0.49 percent and closed the day with 1,395.40 points. While this level was the highest close of all time, the highest level the index saw during the day was 1,399.86 points. At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index increased by 6.85 points compared to its previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 31 billion liras. At the closing, the banking index gained 0.47 percent in value, while the holding index fell 0.89 percent. Among the industry indices, forest, paper and printing were the most profitable with 3.26 percent, while the highest loss was on SME Industry with 1.75 percent. Stating that, tomorrow in the country President of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Naci Ağbal’s presentation on the "2021 Monetary and Exchange Rate Policy for the Year" promotion meeting will be followed, analysts stated that Federal Reserve (Fed) interest rate decision and  Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) to be announced worldwide will be closely monitored. In technical terms, analysts stated that if the BIST 100 index is sustained above 1.390 and that 1.440 points stand out as resistance and 1.320 points are in support.
