Stock market ends the day with a record on December 30. In
Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index increased by 1.38 percent and made the highest closing of all time with 1.479.91 points, and carried its highest level record to 1.483.16 points.
At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index increased by 20.21 points compared to the previous closing, and the total transaction volume was recorded as 35.5 billion liras.
At the closing, the banking index gained 2.79 percent, while the holding index gained 0.86 percent. While banking was the most profitable among sector indices, forest, paper and printing were the most losing with 1.46 percent.
BIST 100 index, supported by the ongoing decrease in exchange rates, closed the day at 1,479.91 points, led by banking stocks. With this level, the index broke the closing record of all time, and seen the highest level on 1,483.91 points.
It was reported that developments regarding trade agreements in the UK and the incentive package in the USA were monitored, and news about the coronavirus epidemic and vaccine remained at the center of the agenda.
Tomorrow, summary of theCentral Bank of the Republic of Turkey Monetary Policy Committee meeting and the foreign trade balance will be followed domestically by analysts, stated that many stock exchanges will be closed due to the New Year holidays.
On the technical side, analysts stated that if the
BIST 100 index remains above 1.455, the level of 1.490 will be followed as resistance, and in the possibility of a decrease, 1.420 points may come to the support position.
