Stock Market Is Rising On The First Day Of The Week
While the negative impact of bond yields on global markets continues in the new week, Borsa İstanbul has started the day positively.
The stock market is rising on the first day of the week. While bond yields in the USA continued to have a negative impact on the risk perception in global markets, Borsa İstanbul started the new week with a 0.5 percent gain at 1.549 points.
After testing the lowest 1.491 and the highest 1.553 points, the
BIST 100 index closed last week at 1.541 points, up 4.80 percent compared to the previous week's close.
With the acceptance of the incentive package, which has been a subject of discussion for a long time in the USA, risk perception in the markets has been positively affected, while the increasing bond yields again significantly reduced the pricing.
While sales in the Asian markets gained momentum, the daily loss in the CSI index in China reached 3 percent.
Incentive Package Is Approved by the Senate
The 1.9 trillion economic support package prepared under the leadership of
US President Joe Biden to reduce the negative effects of the coronavirus epidemic on the country's economy was accepted by the US Senate with 50 votes against 49 on Saturday. The bill, which gained momentum with the introduction of a special legal regulation, was approved in the Senate without the need for the support of the Republicans.
