Stock market started the day horizontally on November 6.
BIST 100 index in
Borsa Istanbul increased by 0.04 percent and started the day with 1,180.49 points.
The BIST 100 index, which gained 0.47 points and 0.04 percent at the beginning of the day, reached 1.180.49 points.
While the banking index lost its value by 0.21 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.39 percent. Among the industry indices, sports were the most profitable with 0.62 percent, while securities investment trusts fell the most with 3.04 percent.
The BIST 100 index, which moved with buyers in line with the increases in the US and European stock markets yesterday, gained 1.06 percent and closed the day at 1.180.02, above 1.180 points, which is described as the resistance level.
Stating that the uncertainty about the presidential election results in the USA continues, analysts emphasized that the news about the election results are on the agenda of the markets.
Indicating that the treasury cash balance will be monitored domestically today, analysts reminded that non-farm employment, unemployment and average hourly earnings data in the employment report to be announced in the US will be monitored abroad. It was also reported that news about the new type of Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic continued to have an impact on global markets.
From a technical point of view, analysts stated that if the BIST 100 index maintains a permanence of over 1,180 points, 1,200 resistance will come to the agenda, while the levels of 1,155 and 1,140 are in support of possible decreases.
