The stock market started the day with a decrease on November 17.

Borsa Istanbul decreased 0.10 percent and started the day with 1.291.65 points.
At the beginning of the day, the index, which lost 1.34 points and 0.10 percent compared to its previous close, fell to 1.291.65 points.
While the banking index lost its value by 0.57 percent at the opening, the holding index lost its value by 0.14 percent. Among the sector indices, forest paper printing became the most profitable with 1.98 percent, while securities investment trusts fell the most with 1.16 percent.
BIST 100 index, which reached the highest score of all time on Monday, reached 1,309.98 points. The index, which increased by 0.13 percent compared to its previous closing, made its closing record with 1.292.99 points.
Stating that the rapidly increasing coronavirus cases, vaccine news and incentive expectations caused the stock and sector-based pricing to deepen in the world stock markets, analysts noted that the news about the coronavirus epidemic remained in the focus.
Reminding that the speeches of European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde and Bank of England President Andrew Bailey will be monitored today, analysts reminded that the data agenda, especially industrial production and retail sales in the USA, will be closely monitored.
On the technical side, analysts stated that 1.310 and 1.320 levels were in the resistance position and 1.280 points in the support position in the BIST 100 index.
