The stock market started the day with a decrease on November 19. BIST 100 index in
Borsa Istanbul decreased by 0.08 percent and opened the day with 1,293.73 points.
The BIST 100 index, which lost 1 point and 0.08 percent compared to its previous closing, fell to 1,293.73 points.
While the banking index lost its value by 0.06 percent at the opening, the holding index also lost its value by 0.04 percent. Among the sector indices, stone and soil earned the most with 0.50 percent while the most decline was on the securities investment partnership with 1.05 percent.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 index, which gained 2.78 as purchases concentrated on bank stocks before the CBRT's PPK meeting to be held today, recorded an all-time closing with 1,294.72 points.
In addition, it was stated that the increasing interest in Turkish lira assets continued after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's "new era in the economy" statements. Stating that the CBRT's interest rate decision will be monitored domestically today, analysts stated that the EU Leaders Summit, the news flow and the data to be announced on Covid-19 will be monitored abroad.
On the technical side, analysts stated that in the
BIST 100 index, 1.300 and 1.320 levels are in the resistance position, and 1.240 and 1.225 are in support.
