The day started in the stock market with a decrease on October 7. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.38 percent and started the day at 1,150.10 points.

Stock Market Started the Day with a Decrease on October 7 The day started in the stock market with a decrease on October 7. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index lost 0.38 percent and started the day at 1,150.10 points. The BIST 100 index, which lost 3.61 points and 0.31 percent at the beginning of the day, fell to 1.150.10 points. While the banking index depreciated by 0.56 percent at the opening; holding index also lost 0.19 percent. Among the sector indices, sports were the most profitable with 2.04 percent, while tourism was the most declining with 1.91 percent. The BIST 100 index, which tested 1,170 points on Tuesday, started to decline after this level, and ended the day with 1.153.71 points with a 0.60 percent loss. Stating that geopolitical developments are in the focus of the agenda, analysts stated that the meeting minutes of the US Federal Reserve will be published at 21:00 tonight. In the USA, analysts stated that the economic stimulus package will be released after the presidential election on November 3 and that this put pressure on the markets, and today the data agenda is stable. From a technical point of view, analysts reminded that the level of 1.155 in the BIST 100 index is important, and noted that 1.120 support below this level and 1.180 resistance above this level may stand out.
