Among the industry indices, while the mining was the most profitable with 1.49 percent, only decline was observed on the securities investment partnership with 0.08 percent. Yesterday after the interest rate decision of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) stock exchanges broke records, while exchange rates began to decline. At the Monetary Policy Committee meeting held yesterday, the CBRT raised the 1-week repo rate by 200 basis points from 15 percent to 17 percent. The BIST 100 index, which continued to rise after this decision, closed the day at 1,426.00 points with 0.59 percent gain compared to its previous close and recorded the highest closing of all time. Indicating that the real sector confidence index, capacity utilization rate and sectoral confidence indices will be monitored today, analysts reminded that there may be a low volume trading day in the country as international stock markets are closed due to the Christmas holiday. In technical terms, analysts stated that the levels of 1.440 and 1.455 are in the resistance position and 1.390 points in the support position in the BIST 100 index.
