Stock market started the day with a record on January 7. BIST 100 index gained 0.64 percent in Borsa İstanbul and started the day with 1.515.04 points. With this level, the index recorded an all-time high. At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 9.62 points and 0.64 percent compared to its previous closing, broke a record with 1.515.04 points. While the banking index gained 1.17 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 0.65 percent. Among the industry indices, sports gained the most with 1.92 percent, while the only decline was on forest, paper and printing with 0.21 percent. The BIST 100 index, which closed the day at 1,505.42 points on Wednesday with a value gain of 1.06, recorded its all-time closing with this level. Analysts said that despite the conflicts in the US state of Georgia after the elections, expectations of increased financial incentives are pricing in the markets. Analysts stated that the weekly money and bank statistics will be monitored domestically today, and that the data agenda, especially inflation in the Eurozone and the ISM Non-manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index in the USA, will be followed abroad. In technical terms, analysts stated that 1.520 points are in resistance and 1.470 points are in support in the BIST 100 index.
