BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul increased by 0.77 percent and started the day with 1.403.10 points. At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index gained 10.66 points and 0.77 percent compared to the previous closing and reached 1.403.10 points. While the banking index gained 1 percent value at the opening, the holding index gained 1.04 percent. While all sector indices started the day with an increase, forest, paper and printing became the most profitable with 1.09 percent. BIST 100 index broke a record yesterday, with the statements of President of Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Naci Ağbal on "Monetary and Exchange Rate Policy for 2021" in the introductory meetings. After recording an all-time high of 1,409.78 points, the index declined due to profit sales and ended the day at 1,392.45 points, down 0.21 percent. Indicating that the statistics of short-term foreign debt will be monitored domestically today, analysts reminded that, abroad, the interest rate decision of the Bank of England, inflation in the Euro Zone and housing starting data in the USA will be followed. In technical terms, analysts stated that in the BIST 100 index, 1.440 points are in the resistance position and 1.320 is in the support position.
