At the opening, the banking index gained 0.18 percent value; holding index gained 0.71 percent. While forest, paper and printing were the most profitable in industry indices with 1.40 percent; The most decline was recorded as tourism with 0.56 percent.
The index showed a vertical trend on Monday, closed the day with 1.121.17 points, losing 0.27 percent. Analysts stated that the New Economy Program (YEP), which will be announced by the Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak at 11:00, and the central government budget for 2021 are on the agenda of investors. Targets, macro policies and principles regarding basic macro indicators such as inflation, employment, growth, exports and current balance will be determined for the 2021-2023 period with YEP.
On the international data agenda, consumer confidence index in the Eurozone and inflation data in Germany will be monitored.
Recalling the 59th Presidential Elections to be held in the USA on November 3, analysts emphasized that the first live broadcast debate to be held by presidential candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden tonight could play a decisive role in the markets.
Analysts stated that 1.130 and 1.155 levels are the resistance and 1.090 points can be seen as the support in the BIST 100 index.
