Stock market started the day with a decrease on October 27.
BIST 100 index in
Borsa Istanbul decreased 0.31 percent and started the day with 1.140.96 points.
The BIST 100 index, which lost 3.49 points and 0.31 percent at the beginning of the day, fell to 1.140.96 points.
While the banking index gained 0.27 percent at the opening, the holding index lost 0.68 percent. While banking was the most profitable among the sector indices, the highest decline was recorded on food and beverage with 1.98 percent.
The second wave concerns which rose with the increse of new types of coronavirus (Covid-19), caused the share markets to remain negative.
BIST 100 index, which decreased 3.88 percent on Monday, closed the day with 1.144.45 points in Borsa Istanbul, which moved parallel with the world stock markets due to the decrease in global risk appetite.
Stating that stock and sector-based movements may come to the fore due to the third quarter financial results, which started to be announced domestically, analysts said that the durable goods orders and consumer confidence index to be announced in the USA today will be closely monitored.
In addition, it was stated that Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak will meet with representatives of international giant companies at the Citibank Investor Conference organized by Citibank today, and news that may come from the meeting will be watched.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the levels of 1.137 and 1.118 in the BIST 100 index came to support and 1.180 points to resistance.
