Stock That Will Never Be Sold-Netflix

Stock That Will Never Be Sold-Netflix   The world's top investors have insisted on retaining high-quality companies for decades. This stock also complies with this bill. Sometimes it's worth investing in generating strong returns over the next few years. Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) is one of those that will be able to beat the market for years and decades to come. If only this stock didn't dunk forever for any investor. Even so, it is worth taking a closer look at these top-notch investments.

Netflix NFLX (NASDAQ) $521,87 0,00 (%0,00)

Originally, Netflix was known as the sender of red mail-order DVD rentals. It introduced digital video streams as a free add-on for DVD customers in 2007, then split its streaming business into a separate subscription service in 2011. Incorporating everything into the all-digital streaming service has allowed global rollout with Netflix's ambitious focus on paid subscription plans. The number of subscribers also showed a huge increase, jumping from 26 million in the summer of 2011 to 209 million today. The company saw an opportunity to work wonders into a brand new market with lower infrastructure costs and worldwide growth potential compared to the DVD mail business. Thus, the DVD business, which dominated the video rental industry in America, was thrown aside. These days, Netflix has become an award-winning content producer with a unique distribution network in every major market (except China). The stock has achieved a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) since the Qwikster event, yielding a return of 2,240%.

Conclusion

It doesn't take several years of great returns to make a life-changing fortune. All that is really needed is usually a few decades of solid earnings. For example, a 10% annual return in line with the long-term market average yields a profit of up to 673% over 20 years. By increasing the average earnings to just 11%, 806% returns can be achieved in 20 years. The stock discussed above is built to do better than this, and their long-term survival is virtually guaranteed by their willingness to change when market conditions warrant.
