The tension in the Hong Kong between the United States (USA) and China is increasing.
US President Donald Trump blamed China for pressure policies in Hong Kong. Trump, who has approved a bill on this situation, will be able to impose sanctions on banks that do business with Chinese representatives.
After the sanction decision against China was approved, a harsh response came from the Chinese authorities.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry has announced that Trump will apply retaliation sanctions in response to this attitude. In the statement made by the ministry, the following statements were made: “The draft law of the USA deliberately denies Hong Kong's National Security Law and threatens sanctions against China. It seriously violates the basic rules of international relations and international law. This is an ugly intervention to Hong Kong's affairs and to China's internal affairs. ”
The ministry stressed that the U.S. government will be given the necessary answer to protect its legitimate interests, and stressed that US agencies will be sanctioned. Stating that the USA should change its attitude, the ministry said that retaliation sanctions would be 'inevitable' if there was no change in attitude.
