TESK Prepared Circular to Prevent the Employment of Unvaccinated People
TESK has prepared a circular to prevent the employment of unvaccinated people. TESK President stated that the tradesmen cannot afford another lockdown.
Turkish Confederation of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (
TESK) President Bendevi Palandöken stated that they are making efforts to create social awareness about vaccines developed against coronavirus (Covid-19), and said, "A new circular has been sent to the entire organization to prevent unvaccinated people from being employed in workplaces."
Making a written statement, TESK President Palandöken stated that with the circular they prepared, they warned 82 unions, 13 professional federations and 3,200 chambers to be sensitive to the vaccine.
Drawing attention to the importance of being vaccinated due to the rapidly increasing number of cases across the country and the delta variant emerging,
Palandöken underlined that the increasing number of cases created a new concern for closure in the tradesmen and craftsmen community.
Emphasizing that the tradesmen cannot tolerate a new closure, TESK President said:
“The most important step in reducing the number of cases and getting rid of the epidemic is to be vaccinated. For this reason, we sent a new circular to the entire organization in order to create social awareness about vaccination and not to employ unvaccinated employees in workplaces. The circular also includes the issue of making a vaccination inquiry with the 'HES code' for customers who come with mask and social distance rules.”
