Tesla EV (NASDAQ: TSLA) will publish a preliminary report on the vehicle accident.
A senior official told Reuters; The US National Transport Safety Board (NTSB) reported that Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) will publish a preliminary report on the vehicle accident.
"A preliminary report usually comes out within a month, but we are working hard to get it out as soon as possible. Because we are aware that there is confusion there," said NTSB Deputy Director, Kristin Poland.
Earlier this month, Tesla's Model S car hit a tree in Texas and caught fire. In the accident, a person in the front passenger seat and the owner of the vehicle in the back seat died.
Police said it was clear that no one was in the driver's seat at the time of the accident.
Tesla, on the other hand, said on Monday that the steering wheel was deformed, possibly saying that someone was in the driver's seat, and denied the police allegations.
Saying that the report will be based on concrete facts, Poland said, "The sooner we issue the preliminary report, the easier it will be to get clarity for everyone."
The NTSB official did not comment on whether there were any findings obtained so far, saying that the investigation of its experienced inspectors is continuing.

The NTSB criticized Tesla's autopilot system after a series of investigations into fatal accidents.
Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk shared a tweet; He said that the autopilot, which is a semi-autonomous driving system, was not engaged during the accident.
Tesla said he was unable to recover the data on the SD card found in the burning car, but local authorities were working on it.
"We were able to extinguish most of the fire in 3 to 4 minutes," Woodlands Fire Department Fire Chief, Palmer Buck found in the description.
The firefighters primarily cooled the battery space as the chemical chain reaction in the lithium-ion battery pack caused a flame to come out from under the car.
When the investigation was completed, it was reported that the fire was completely extinguished.
